When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.
Why is everyone hating on the book??? It wasn't as bad as half of them said it was. Is it a little cringy? yes. But it isn't bad and she made a backstory for Miles. Definitely think peoplw who like smut would enjoy this book lol.

Colleen is a genius. All her books are amazing and this is part of the masterpieces she put out. Tate was lacking a little bit in self-love but is it not what we all do when we are in love? I truly enjoyed it and I loved it!

I have never wanted to slap a character in the face more than I wanted to slap Tate the entire time reading this book. That was literally horrific. I was embarrassed for her the entire time … and all of miles chapters were so poorly written like I cannot believe this book is so well received… there was barely any plot besides them having sex

i really liked this book a lot. i liked the way colleen expresses the characters through actions and not just thoughts. she did a really good job of having the word “love” have such a deeper meaning. definitely recommend this book if you like smut as well lmao

The worst of Colleen's books that I have read. It was cheesy and I didn't enjoy it, and I only finished it because I don't like leaving books unfinished. She has the capability to write a decent book, shown in Verity, but this was not one of them. This is the same writing as all of her other books, so if you like them, you will like this. It felt predictable and unenjoyable. Bonus points because it was legible and the story made basic sense.

The water depicts a deep part of the plot that you later understand. The relationship between the main character and her sibling was truly awkward. Tons of open door romance/smut. The ending felt rushed and stupid honestly. Not a fan of it and this book was the second chance that CoHo had to redeem herself and it was disappointing.
Her books have zero people of colour and it pisses me off honestly.
