This was a thrilling crime tale that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, as the plot kept ramping up and the suspense continued to build until just about the very end, which was fairly satisfying for the most part. Lots of little twists and turns told from different points of view kept everything really fresh throughout. As for the writing, it's about what you'd expect to find with most Scandinavian crime thrillers - concise and to the point but effective nonetheless. It's a very easy book to pick up and read, as it grabs you fairly early on and holds you from putting it back down. I think it only took me a couple of days to finish it. If you like fast-paced, suspenseful crime thrillers, I highly recommend "Three Seconds."
