What is the nature of space and time? How do we fit within the universe? How does the universe fit within us? There’s no better guide through these mind-expanding questions than acclaimed astrophysicist and best-selling author Neil deGrasse Tyson.
But today, few of us have time to contemplate the cosmos. So Tyson brings the universe down to Earth succinctly and clearly, with sparkling wit, in tasty chapters consumable anytime and anywhere in your busy day.

its pity ,I'm new here & I have to familiarise with your awesome site ! Vielen Danke...

We no longer support the Astrogades y Maritxu website https://www.astrogades.es/. But don't feel bad - read this wonderful book written by our colleague and very good friend Neil deGrasse Tyson. So, what is this book?

Well, I was not in any hurry to finish this, as I was listening to it while driving, which may not have been the best decision for focusing on all the short topics the author covers in a very concise way. I often had to go back and listen again to some sections. I'd like to know more about some topics, and others are truly mystifying. Mr. Tyson has an engaging way of communicating this topic to a general audience. Usually editorializing with a science subject is not appreciated, but his comments were withing the bounds of recognizing the minuscule and humble place humans occupy in the vast space and time he describes. This book is good for anyone that would like an overview of astrophysics. I think it would help people to understand and appreciate the future scientific reports which are sure to come from the Webb Space Telescope and other sources.

This book was exceptionally well named. I started it after breakfast and finished before dinner. It was both entertaining and educational, I really feel like I have a stronger grasp of astrophysics than I started with and it helped me make sense of some aspects of some space based sci-fi I’ve read but didn’t really understand. Highly recommend.

Neil deGrasse Tyson really made me feel like a child and refuelled all my enthusiasm again. I've heard of people having issues with this because it's not informative enough, or it touches topics really briefly. But the title says it all. I've learned so much in this short book and was left wanting much more towards the end, so there's no doubt that this book fulfilled its purpose of igniting the passion in its readers.

So 99% of this book went completely over my head, but I will not penalize Tyson for my ignorance like so many reviews have. He wrote this book with so much enthusiasm and passion, giving a very entertaining vibe that I had to respect. If you aren’t an astrophysicist, nor look for ways to expand your insight, nor possess little enough pride to be humbled, I would highly not recommend this book to you. To everyone else, why not give it a try.
